The buzz surrounding The Game Awards reached a fever pitch, particularly after host Geoff Keighley shared a puzzling photo of a desert monolith. The secret has now been solved. Larian Studios is developing a fresh Divinity game.
Announced as Divinity, the game was showcased with a bold trailer that included memorable imagery, from a burning man to scenes of revelry and the very descent into chaos.

For those hoping for Divinity Original Sin 3, that is not happening. Larian clarified that a follow-up to its critically acclaimed RPGs is not on the cards right now.
Nevertheless, the developer described this new Divinity as a evolution of the core franchise. This phrasing hints that the team could be designing a real-time experience rather than another turn-based title. Currently, it remains theory, as only a teaser video is available.

The series is also famously open-ended, enabling players to improvise in narrative and gameplay. Most missions can be solved in diverse methods, frequently in lateral fashion.
